Let’s start with a point everyone agrees on: We desperately need health care reform in America.

Why? Because health care costs in America are too high and because access to quality health care is too limited.

Unfortunately, the so-called “reforms” on the table in Washington – the ones crafted behind close doors by the Obama Administration, Democrats and the insurance companies – won’t solve either problem. Instead, this trio has proposed a dream come true for Big Insurance: A requirement that says not only must Americans buy their product, but we must buy a version of the product ok’d by government.

Think about that: Is there a single product in America that’s mandatory to buy? Is there any product in America where you could be fined or jailed if you fail to buy it?

Arizona’s Health Care Freedom Act disrupts this theft of liberty and makes real health care reform possible – by ensuring that any solution begins not with appeasing industry, but by listening to patients.
